How we choose fabrics

Every season starts with swatches on the table, not mood boards on a screen. We look for mid-weight knits that hold their shape after wash, canvas that softens without thinning, and denim with enough structure for daily wear. If a fabric fails the wash test or pills after a week of wear, it doesn’t make the cut — even when the mill sample looks perfect in photos. The goal is simple: pieces you reach for again, not pieces you replace.
